Southern Super Scenic Tour
This tour takes in the picturesque landscapes, coastlines and beautiful villages in the west and south of the Island. It is an ideal tour for those who would like to visit some of the most photographed places on the Isle of Man.
Starting in Douglas it heads west to the Viking site and St John’s. Onwards to Peel, arguably the Most Manx town, where the historic castle, fishing harbour and kipper smoke house are the highlights. Driving along the coast road to wonderful views at Niarbyl. The trip then climbs over hill and moorland and descends to the Victorian sea-side town of Port Erin. Further south it passes Cregneash, a Manx crofting village preserved as it was 150 years ago and reaches The Sound - perhaps the most beautiful spot on the Island.
On the way back we visit Castletown the historic capital and location of 13th century Castle Rushen and the popular Fairy Bridge.
The tour lasts approx. 2½ hours with 6 stops at points of interest.
Price is £120 per car.
